My twelfth translation. Corrections are welcome. ^_^

The story thus far: Nitta Mieko (the pop idol) asks Mitsuru to star in a TV commercial with her. He's reluctant, but
gets pressured into it by his friends and fans. For some reason, Mitsuru is worried that Shou will be angry with him
for doing the commercial. Nitta Mieko's new manager, Ootani-san, is a gold-digger. She finds out that Shinobu is
from a wealthy family and starts flirting with him even though she's quite a bit older than he is. On the day of the
commercial shoot, Ootani-san has a run-in with one of the cameramen, who -- surprise! -- turns out to be
Shinobu's older brother, Akira.

Warning: Not everything on each page is translated. Also, my translation style is definitely becoming less literal
than it was in the past.

Shun: That's not it! If that's Shinobu-sempai's older brother, he's the Tezuka family heir, right?

[Cut to Akira.]

Ootani's voice: Uh! Wait!

Ootani: Wait a moment!

Akira: A. . . [Sweatdrop]

Shun's voice: So then, why's he doing grunt work in a place like this?

Ootani: Umm, I'm Ootani from JIS Agency.

Akira: Huh?

Ootani: Nitta Mieko's manager?

Akira: Uh. Yeah?

Ootani: Thank you *so* much for everything you're doing for Mieko!

Ootani: When do you get off work?

Akira: [Sweatdrop] Huh?

Studio guy: Tezuka! What the hell are you doing?

Narr: One day, the prince left the castle and became lost.

[Back at the shoot.]

Director: Cuut! Okay! Thanks, everyone!

Mitsuru: Umm. That close up we just did. How clearly was it shot?

Director: Ha ha ha! Don't worry! Everyone will recognize you!

Mitsuru: Oh. . . really. . .

Mieko: Just as I thought. You were perfect.

Mitsuru: Eh?

Mieko: I really thought you'd be great for this role! You fit the image of the Prince perfectly.

Mieko: I had a feeling you'd come rescue me.

[Mitsuru points at Hasukawa, who's now the Dorm Head.]

Hasukawa: Y- yes? [Sweatdrop]

Hasukawa: H- hey-

Shinobu: I'll be back tomorrow morning.

[Mitsuru has a "Oh, not this again" look on his face. ^_^]

Hasukawa: W- wait! You can't do that! Sempai!

[Shinobu walks off, whistling.]

Hasukawa: Sempai!!

[Shinobu walks to a tall apartment building.]

Narr: For the time being, the princess was confined to the top of a high tower.

Noriko: Didn't I tell you to call or something before coming over?

Shinobu: I have good news. I thought I'd come and tell you quickly.

[Noriko makes them some tea.]

Shinobu: I saw Akira today.

Noriko: [Handing Shinobu his tea] Was he well?

Shinobu: A little thinner, but he's doing heavy lifting, so he must be well.

Shinobu: He looked like a movie studio assistant. Still taking pictures.

[Back at Greenwood, Hasukawa is taking roll call. He and Shun are standing outside room 211.]

[Commercial: Mieko sees a peacock and takes a picture of it with her Mineruba camera. To her surprise, the
peacock transforms into Mitsuru, the Peacock Prince.]

[A girl and her mother are watching the commercial.]

Commercial: Beautiful things made beautiful, easily. Mieko's Mineruba.

Mother: Oh, my. What a pretty face.

Girl: That's Mitsuru-sempai!

[In another house 3 girls are watching.]

[The junior high school girls look at their snapshots of Mitsuru.]

Junior high girl 1: I wonder if he'll become a star.

Junior high girl 2: These'll be worth more.

[Everyone but Shinobu facefaults.]

Overhead: It's extremely urgent. Please come to the audience chamber at once.

Kamegaki: [Laughing] Wa ha ha ha

Mitsuru standing suddenly FX: GATA

[Mitsuru stalks out and slams the door.]

Door FX: Batan.

Shun: I knew it. Mitsuru-sempai's afraid someone saw the commercial.

Hasukawa: Huh? What's that? "Someone" you say. . .

Shun: You know. *Someone*. The person he didn't want his face to be seen by. For example. . .

Shun: Someone who saw him doing something bad. [Translation?]

All: Oo!

Shun: Or maybe there's a girl he fooled around with under an assumed name!

[Shinobu looks amused.]

Shun(?): Let's go see!

Standing FX: Sukku

[Mitsuru is talking on the phone.]

Mitsuru: Hello!

Mitsuru: Aw. What is it with you people?! [Sweatdrop]

[Shun and Hasukawa are peeking at him from around the corner.]

Shun: Looks like we were wrong.

Hasukawa: Yeah.

[Mitsuru hangs up.]

Hanging up FX: chin

Mitsuru: [Talking to himself] Ma said she (?) didn't say anything. It's not like he didn't see it. . .

Hasukawa: ?

Mitsuru: Maybe I should just bite the bullet and talk to them.

Telephone FX: RIN!

Mitsuru FX: Bikuu! [Surprise]

Shun: Amazing that Mitsuru-sempai's that panicked!

Hasukawa: Why? Who's the other person?

[The phone keeps ringing while Mitsuru hesitates.]

Phone FX: Rin! Rin! Rin!

Overhead: Ikeda-kun, you're there aren't you? Please pick up the phone!

Mitsuru: [Answering the phone] Hello, this is Ryokurin Ryou. . .

Mieko's voice: Hello. . . This is Nitta. Is Ikeda-san there?

Mitsuru: Oh, it's you, Mieko-chan?

Mieko's voice: Ah. . . It's you, Ikeda-san. . .

[Shun and Hasukawa dart away.]

Shun: Great! We've discovered his weak spot!

Hasukawa: If we use it -!!

[Shun and Hasukawa chuckle evilly.]

Chuckle FX: Fu fu fu fu fu fu

Mieko's voice: Thank you for everything. They say the commercial is very popular.

Mieko's voice: It looks like there have been a lot of inquiries about you, Ikeda-san. As I promised, I've said "no

Mitsuru: Thank you.

marries a wealthy man, sort of like Cinderella.]

[Cut to Noriko's TV.]
