Past Updates
In chronological order, 'cause I'm lazy.
December 1999: I started this site sometime around then, I think.

Update 3/14/00: Went hog wild with the scanner. Added manga pictures to
the "Dormmates", "Family" and "Friends" sections, as well as to the manga
translation "Boy Meets Boy". Posted more randomness.

Update 3/16/00: Happy (Belated) MAS-mas!
Yes, the annual celebration of Mitsuru and Shinobu is now on at the
Project for MAS World Domination! Tons of new fanfics have been
submitted in honor of the biseinen babes and are available for your
viewing pleasure. Check out "Ugly" (under "Original Flavor") and
"Redneck Greenwood" (under "Everything Else") if you want a good
laugh! Fry mah hide! *LOL*! Guess what? I won the first annual MAS
humor contest! Wai! I'm so excited! *^_^*

Update 3/26/00: Updated the Links page to include Lady Koneko and
Anime Asylum. (Go see Joppo's manga translations! Wai!) Updated the
Manga page and added part of the rescue scene from "Headache:
Nemesis". (Wah! Mitsuru, what are you doing?!) This is the last update
until the beginning of May. I'm supposed to be studying for the biggest test
of my life, so I won't be working on the site. Wish me luck, minna!

Update 5/7/00: Wai! I now own all the tankubon! I've put up manga
volumes 6 and 8. Volumes 9 and 10 and full size cover art scans should be
up soon. I also caved in and bought the Japanese version of the vocal
album, so more songs should be forthcoming. Last, but not least, I've
translated the all important panel following Shinobu's "Suki da ze" line.
Brace yourself, Sheila!

Update 5/13/00: Manga cover art scans up. Listed the tracks on the
Greenwood Vocal CDs. Added more randomness. Updated the
Characters page with more family members, tweaked the Gang of Four
pages and added Otaku-Type:Here is Greenwood! to the links.

Update 5/20/00: Added Kanda Toshiyuki to the Enemies list. Updated the
link to Otaku-Type: Here is Greenwood! (New screencaps from OAV 2
are up there, with a nice action shot of Mitsuru. ^_^) AnimeNation put my
page in their links. . . twice! *sweatdrop*

Update 5/28/00: Added a bit more information to the Hasukawa family.
Put up the episode listings for manga volumes 9 and 10. Screencaps from
OAV's 3 and 4 are up at Otaku-Type! Yum! Sent Chirlind the lyrics from
the Vocal album, so almost all of the Greenwood songs are now romanized
at her Anything Goes Anime Lyrics Archive!

Also got my prize from the good women at the Project for MAS World
Domination. Oooh. Pristine manga. Mmmmm. Arigatou! ^_^

Update 6/3/00: I've finished my second manga translation! Woo Hoo! "Jr
Toushou!" is up on the manga page. I know I was supposed to be working
on "Replicant Valentine", but that alien's accent is *horrible*. (If any of
you are interested in joining the "Greenwood Translation Project", let me
know. I'd be eternally grateful and shower you with links!) No pictures
yet to go along with the translation. I'm too tired.

Update 6/10/00: Okay, not really an update, since I haven't done anything
new. Or at least nothing I can show you yet. Joppo and I are working on
something I think you'll like, but it won't be ready for a little while. What
is it? Sore wa himitsu desu! To distract you, there are kickass new
screencaps up at Otaku-Type from the 5th and 6th OAV's. Go see 'em! I
hope to have something new up for you soon. Gomen!

Update 6/18/00: Added alt text messages to the pics for those of you
impatient types, and put up manga scans for "Jr Toushou!"

Update 6/26/00: Welcome to my new home! My crl account is dead, so
I've moved. Unfortunately, I'm not able to update the crl site to let people
know where I've gone, so they'll just assume I've stopped updating the site.
Grrr. Anyway, I have a domain name now, so you should be able to find
me at http://greenwood.xhounds.com even if I move in the future. Please
update any links or bookmarks you may have. Arigatou! In other news, I've
learned that Nasu-sensei has just put out a yaoi manga called "Tokyo
Kaidan new", published by Shinshokan. If anyone has read it, let me know
how it is. Started reading her "Angels and Diamonds" manga. It's a cute
story about a high school baseball team. The main characters look like
Yoshiki and Fujikake.

Update 7/8/00: Updated links to Haruka's House and my lyrics site. Joppo
and I are still working away on our little surprise. Well, *she's* working
away. I'm just standing in the background making "oooh" noises. ^_^ By
the way, there's a cool new Greenwood fic up at Anime @sylum. Go see
it! Added more alt text messages.

7/18/00: I've recently discovered that my sites are utterly $%&*-ed up in
Internet Explorer, so I'll be spending time trying to make them presentable.

Update 7/20/00: The surprise is done! I'm very happy to announce that
Joppo has started the No-Brand Heroes Webring! Wai! Thank you, Joppo!
^_^ Please join us in spreading Greenwoody goodness throughout the
Web! Haruka's House and Qokie Network have generously donated
screencaps to the cause, and I've gone a little insane making webring
buttons. Help yourself or make your own. If you have trouble submitting
yourself to the Webring in Netscape, try using Internet Explorer.

Put up a raw translation of "The Room Number Song" on the lyrics page.
Tweaked the gang of four pages again.

Update 7/29/00: Dave from Qokie Network has sent me more webring
buttons! Yay! Go start a Greenwood site so you can use them! Made some
minor modifications to the lyrics and fixed the links to Koko wa
Marmalade Boy. I'm going on vacation!
Update 8/13/00: Put up the utterly awesome logo Dave (from Qokie
Network) designed for the webring! It's on the buttons page. Go see it! Put
up translations for the songs "Ukurere na Ani no Ai" and "Kimi wo
Mamoritai" on the lyrics page. Updates are going to be a bit less frequent
from now until the end of September. I'm getting ready to take the
*second* part of the biggest test of my life, so I'll be spending most of my
time studying. No, really. Wish me luck -- it really worked last time!

Update 9/1/00: Posted a translation for Igarashi's image song "Kimi wo
Suki de Yokatta" on the lyrics page. Made *minor* changes in random
spots. BTW, I made an error on Mitsuru's page. Mitsuru didn't win the
title of "Greenwood Queen" in manga volume 4. He won the title of
"Ryokuto Queen". (He's the best transvestite on campus!) New character
updates are up at Qokie Network, and Joppo's set up a polling booth for
her next fic at Anime @sylum. Go stuff it with requests for Greenwood
fics! Speaking of fics, torch has written a lovely shounen-ai Greenwood
fic. It has lemony bits, so please refrain from visiting if you are underage
or if the thought of gay romance bothers you. You have been informed.
http://www.strangeplaces.net/torch/ (Look under "miscellaneous.") If you
feel inspired after reading, Aestheticism has a fanfic contest going. This is
the last update until the second half of September, when I will have
finished my test. See you on the other side! ^_^

Update 9/10/00: Just got back from Chicago, and am rarin' to go on the
site! Lesley Brown has donated a transliteration of Sakamoto Chika's song
"No Brand Heroes"! Wai! Doumo arigatou gozaimashita! (If anyone else
would like to donate manga or lyric translations, I would be happy to post
or link to them. *hint hint* ^_^;) Snagged a wideban version of
Greenwood -- volume 3. It has Mitsuru on the cover, and he is looking
*fine*, thank you very much! Also snagged volume two of Nasu-sensei's
"Angels and Diamonds" manga. It's very sweet. In other news, updated
the links to Haruka's House -- now Haruka's Mobile Home, as she's in the
process of looking for more permanent digs.

Update 9/16/00: Put up a translation of "Boku-tachi ga Iru Kiseki" on the
lyrics page. Added composer/lyricist info to the other songs. In other
news, I'm one of three lucky first-timers who passed our test -- the pass
rate was 23%. *whee!* Thanks, minna, for your support! I'm also starting
an intensive beginning Japanese class, which I'm *very* excited about. I'm
hoping it'll help me translate a little bit faster. ^_^

Update 9/17/00: Added kanji to the Gang of Four character pages.

Update 10/2/00: Put up a translation of "Greenwood Carnival 1 ~ Love
Your Daily Life" on the lyrics page, and made minor corrections to
"Greenwood Carnival 2". Tweaked the manga page and added a cover
scan from Wideban #3. Added more examples to "Evil Things That
Sempai Do/Brothers in Arms". Added the No-Brand Heroes Webring to
the links page. New Greenwood fiction is up at @nimeAsylum. Go see!

Update 10/3/00: Put up the Great Greenwood Trivia Challenge. Have fun!

Update 10/8/00: I've finished my third manga translation! "Ai wa Katsu 1"
is up on the manga page. Unfortunately, it overlaps quite a bit with OAV 6,
but the scene where Shinobu whaps Mitsuru with a dictionary is still cute.
In other news, put up a link to Jaysen's new Greenwood site: dorm212. He
has some lovely manga scans up and translations to follow! *Ureshii*!
Sasuga Books has volumes 5-11. Will visitor 1,000 please email me?

Update 10/13/00: Put up a short Angels and Diamonds page. It's a cute
series, and I highly recommend it.

Update 10/28/00: Snagged Widebans 1 and 4. (I'm so *happy*!) Cover
scans are up -- you can get there from the manga page. Put up an "About"
page, which is only tangentially related to me and this site. I have a job
interview next week and a Nihongo test (Kanji wa totemo muzukashii desu
nee!), so updates may be a bit less frequent for a bit. Gomen!

Update 11/10/00: Made minor additions to the gang of four pages, and put
up a "Burning Questions" page for FAQs. Had a new random thought.
There's new fanfiction up at @nime Asylum! Go see!

Update 11/11/00: Put actual kanji in the "Fun With Kanji" thought. ^_^;

Update 11/21/00: More randomness. Put up a translation of "No Brand
Heroes". Yen has a fanfic contest going at @nime Asylum! I'm going to a
conference, so no more updates until December. Happy Thanksgiving!

Update 12/4/00: Added a page on Nasu Yukie's other works. Short
version: Gekkou and Angels rock! Put up ISBNs. Corrected lyrics.

Update 12/7/00: I haven't been able to upload the site since Nov. 11th.
Gomen! Added incidental manga characters to the characters page.

Update 12/31/00: Translated "Tomo Yo" on the lyrics page. Added a
bunch of Greenwood links and updated the link to Lady Koneko's library.
Update 1/15/01: Happy new year! Sorry about the sporadic updates, but I'm
looking for a job and I'm having problems with Homestead, as you can see.
Please continue to check http://greenwood.xhounds.com/ first. Happy
belated birthday to Nasu-sensei (Jan. 4th) and happy birthday to Hasukawa
(Jan. 1X)! Added a new random thought based on the Anime Marriage
Prospects site. Added new "Evil Things that Sempai Do". This site is
almost a year old and I'm considering having some sort of contest. If you
have any suggestions for the site or the contest, please let me know!

Update 1/21/01: Hey, Homestead's letting me upload again! Added
pictures to the Manga Incidentals page. I've ordered the rest of Nasu-
sensei's manga, including Wideban 2, and hope to have them soon.

Update 1/29/01: Since translations are taking me forever, I've summarized
volume 3 of the manga. I have made no attempt to avoid spoilers, so be
warned! The incidentals pics still aren't working right. Bah.

Update 2/18/01: Back from my trip! Added Nasu-sensei's shounen-ai
manga "Tokyo Kaidan new" to the Other Works and added more info to
"Gekkou". "Tenshi to Daiyamondo" 3 is out of print! Arrrrgh! More lyric
corrections. Added Anime Pitstop! to the links.

Update 3/15/01: Happy MAS-mas! Project for MAS World Domination
will be holding their annual celebration of all things Mitsuru and Shinobu,
so please be sure to visit them! I'm very sorry to report that the founders of
MAS Project (Holy Empress Janet-chan and Commander In Chief Rachel-
chan) won't be keeping the site up in the future. ;_; Please write to them
and thank them for building such a wonderful site! They will be sorely
missed.

Not much has been going on around here. Added Nagisa, Igarashi and
Misako-chan to the "Greenwood Marriage Prospects" random thought.
Took the old updates off this page to cut down on loading time. Put up a
page of stuff I want (*greedy*). Changed a few words in some of the lyrics
and corrected some spelling errors. Wideban 2 is waiting for me at the
bookstore, so I hope to have info on it soon.

Update 3/18/01: I have info and a cover scan of Wideban 2 on the Wideban
page (you can access it through the manga page). Updated links to
dorm212. MAS hasn't updated yet, but I hope they will soon!

Update 3/25/01: Added Kiri's new Greenwood Fanfiction Archive to the
links. (Please go read her fic "Language or the Kiss".) Updated the link to
@nimeAsylum and put up a short blurb on the 2-disc vocal collection CD
on the lyrics page. Updated my wanted list.

Update 4/8/01: Jaysen has finished a translation of the second manga
episode: "We Meet Again, Greenwood"! *Wai!* Thank you Jaysen!
Go visit it at his site, dorm212! Updated the links again.

Update 4/30/01: Doujinshi scans up. Added "Greenwood Carnival 3" to
the lyrics page. Updated the links with Kaze's lovely animated GIF. O_O
Jaysen of dorm212 is almost done with his translation of "Holiday".
Speaking of which, I'm going out of town for two weeks. See you soon!

Update 5/29/01: Added scans to Nasu Yukie's Other Works. Hope to have
Umi's awesome new translations up soon. Kiri (of Greenleaves) and I are
working on putting together a Greenwood fanfic contest. The Grand Prize?
The winner's choice of the Greenwood Vocal Best Collection, OAVs 1-2
(sub) or manga Wideban 4 (Shinobu in jammies!). Get writing!

Update 6/19/01: Added two manga to Nasu Yukie's Other Works. Tiny
changes everywhere. Homestead is going to start charging me, so I'm going
to dismantle my sites there. No, really. If you have links to individual
pages of mine, please switch them to the corresponding 50megs pages.
Thanks! Due to the size of this site, I'm going to stop making an HTML 3.2
version unless that's going to really put someone out. Opinions, anyone?

Update 6/21/01: Umi's translation of Volume 1 is up! *Wai!* ^_^

Update 6/30/01: Redid the links to Umi's translation -- they should be
easier to follow now. Umi inspired me to get off my butt and work on
"Replicant Valentine", which is now up on the manga page. Many thanks to
Jaysen of dorm212 for his help in translating some frustrating lines! I think
I'm a bit off in some spots, but what the hey. ^_^;

Update 8/4/01: I'm sorry about the lack of updates recently. Gomen nasai!
>_< I've been in the process of fleeing Homestead before they could start
charging me. On the other hand, I'm paying 50megs twice as much just
because they let me FTP and I don't have to use their site building software.
Some of my links will be a bit funky for a little while.

Update 8/18/01: A few changes everywhere, none of them terribly
amusing. Redid the links to Koko wa Marmalade Boy again. Added an
overview of the series for the uninitiated and scraped together some
miniscule factlets for fanfic writers. Guess what? I'm going to Tokyo next
month! O_O Hey, will visitor #5000 drop me an email?

Update 9/10/01: Congratulations to Osmalic, visitor #5000! More tiny
changes and a translation of part 2 of "Hasukawake no Ichizoku." What
happened to part one, you ask? Well, it's still in the works, >_<;;; but I'm
hoping that you won't miss it much. ^_^;; Nasu-sensei has written another
yaoi manga, titled "Akatsuki ni Naku Kaze ni Naku KORAARU," which
I'm hoping to buy in Japan. Wish me luck, minna! If things work out I'll
have more Greenwood goods to share when I get back. *^__^* Ja, mata!

Update 9/11/01: Thousands are killed in a terrorist attack. Our flight to
Japan from Logan is cancelled. Some thoughts the day after.

Update 9/15/01: We're going to try to fly from Logan to Narita tomorrow.

Update 10/2/01: Back from Tokyo. Got to see Cowboy Bebop: Knockin'
on Heaven's Door and the new Miyazaki movie. Haku ga sugoku kakkoii!
Was actually able to find two Greenwood djs and a Gekkou dj! Hope to
have scans from them up soon. Added two yummy fanart pages to the links.

Update 10/30/01: Umi has her Greenwood site up! It's called [boy's dorm]
and it looks great! I've added it to my links and updated the manga page to
link to all of her translations. Go, Umi! Finally updated the dj page but I
haven't scanned the new djs yet. Err. Some of them are. . . um . . . *blush*
In other news, I received my very first award from Umi. *clutches it*
Thank you! I'm so *happy*! ^__^

Update 11/3/01: Scans from one of the new doujinshi up. It's a really
disturbing one, plus a lot of the pictures were NC-17, so there wasn't much
that I could scan. Have a cover scan of bunkoban 6 up on the manga page.

Update 11/4/01: The first (hopefully) annual Suki da ze! Greenwood
Fanfiction Contest has finally begun! It's co-sponsored by yours truly and
Kiri of Greenleaves (who is actually doing all of the work ^_^;). We're
accepting nominations and submissions until December 8th, so get reading
and writing! The lucky and talented winner will get a personalized award
banner and her (or his) choice of a Greenwood VHS tape, vocal CD or
Wideban manga (all of which are rather hard to come by these days). I've
put up a listing of sites that covers just about every Greenwood fic I'm
aware of. Now to find some judges. . .

Update 12/1/01: One week left to nominate/submit fics to the Suki da ze!
Greenwood Fanfiction Contest. Put up a translation of part one of
"Hasukawa-ke no Ichizoku" on the manga page.
