Koko wa Greenwood Links
If you would like to link to this site, first of all, thank you very much! ^_^
Please make any links to http://greenwood.xhounds.com
I may disappear from 50megs at any time, but you should always be able
to find me at that address. It will also keep me from bugging you with
emails when I move, which is a good motivator, ne? -_-

But enough about me. Get outta here! Itte 'rasshai! ^_^;
Probably the best place to start. This site has a translation for the first
manga episode as well as scripts for the third through the sixth OAVs and
a complete list of all the Greenwood CDs. I modeled my site to
complement the Greenwood Homepage in terms of information covered.
A page of Greenwood links, sorted into categories. This is the most
comprehensive listing of links for this anime (even more than Anipike!)
and it's a good place to browse once you know what you want to see.
Anything on this links page is probably there already, so just go, okay?
Yes, MAS stands for "Mitsuru and Shinobu"! They'd make good
benevolent despots, ne? (Hasukawa: "Yeah, but which one would be the
benevolent one?" Mitsuru: "Teme. . .") A fun site devoted to our favorite
sempai. Home of the "Here is Greenwood Love Quiz" and the largest
collection of Greenwood fanfiction I've found. Also home to Nagisa's
profiles of the despotic duo and a very funny picture gallery.
Another beautiful site devoted to Mitsuru Ikeda and Shinobu Tezuka. The
essays (most notably "Mitsuru's Birthday Special") are very entertaining,
but there are also huge image galleries and a collection of sound files,
including MP3s of Mitsuru and Shinobu's songs.
The second home of the No-Brand Heroes. Maintained by Karen Ostertag.
My source for Mrs. Ikeda's seiyuu! Thanks! ^_^
My source for seiyuu information (apart from the video tapes themselves).
Just an all-around wonderful site. Did you know that Urd's voice actress
also did the voice of Hongo Yui in Fushigi Yuugi?!
An on-line anime store. Has the Software Sculptors Greenwood VHS
tapes (though they seem to have run out of the subbed versions of the tapes
*waah!*) as well as the Greenwood Best Vocal CD. (Type "Greenwood"
into their search engine.) I've shopped with them a few times and have
been very happy, although if you buy an imported item which is out of
stock it may take several months before you receive it.
A Japanese bookstore in Boston, MA which carries Greenwood manga.
I've never shopped on-line with them, so I can't say anything about their
service, but it's a great place to go for manga if you're in the area!
A chain of Japanese bookstores (in Japan!) with a few U.S. branches.
I've never shopped on-line with them, but their San Francisco and San
Jose branches are definitely worth visiting! Other people on the Web
have recommended them and they do have an amazing manga selection.
My other site. Has lyrics and translations for songs from Marmalade Boy,
Tenkuu no Escaflowne, Mahou Tsukai Tai!, Arslan Senki and Greenwood.
Also has a pretty good links page for fanfiction and other fun things.
Just what it says! You'll need this to order the manga!
Chirlind has the most comprehensive compilation of Koko wa
Greenwood song romanizations I've found. She also has great tips for
translators at her Nihongo Corner and will do translations by request!
If you haven't been there by now, how did you find this site?!

My source for all of the screencaps on this site. Arigatou! Haruka has
since removed her Greenwood page because of poaching. ;__;
General Information, Scripts, and Manga Translations
Maintained by Joppo, Yen and Nic. Joppo has done translations from the
Chinese manga with manga scans! Wai! Go see Hasukawa play
Cinderella with Mitsuru as his dominatrix evil stepmother! *LOL*! Also
home to several Greenwood fanfics! ^_^
Worship and Fanfiction
Lady Koneko has an excellent collection of fics, with a small but growing
number of Greenwood stories. Check out her Yu Yu Hakusho and Please
Save My Earth wings while you're there!

Screencaps!
There are some lovely screencaps at this site, as well as character, CD
and production info. While you're there, have a peek at the Patlabor site.
Goto Taicho, suki! Plus, Shinobu's namesake is there, and she's awesome.
Webrings

The one and only webring devoted to Greenwood, maintained by Joppo!
Join it. Now. (Webring buttons are available here.)
Part of Aikousha, this pretty site is devoted to the Greenwood manga.
The Webmaster has beautiful manga scans up, including one of the only
(uncensored) kiss in the whole darn series! He's also translated the first
episode of tankoubon 2, with more translations on the way! *Yay!*
The source for Greenwood VHS tapes and laserdiscs. Not as cheap as
AnimeNation or RightStuf, but then again, they're not as likely to run out
of the subbed version now, are they? Write to them and ask nicely for a
DVD version, okay?
Greenwood Mailing Lists

I hesitated to put MLs on my links page before, because, frankly, most of
them are (*ahem*) really low traffic (i.e., moribund, if not actually dead).
Then I thought: what the Hell, maybe someone will breathe some life back
into them. Knock yourself out.
A ML devoted to the idea of Mitsuru and Shinobu as a romantic pair.
Hands down the busiest of the MLs, and a cozy place for fangirls (and
boys) to discuss the biseinen babes of 211. Also home to a large
number of fanfics (all shounen-ai or yaoi, obviously).
Home of the Greenwood RPG, and a fairly busy place, even if many of the
posts are of the "where the *&$@ is everyone?" variety.
The original Greenwood ML, its members remember when a licensed
American version of the series was but a twinkle in Software Sculptors'
eye. The last post was sometime in April of 2001.
Anime Pitstop!
Another great anime resource with a search engine! Yes! [10/7/01: I've
temporarily disabled this link as the site seems to have been taken over
by an especially annoying porn site. Is nothing sacred?! >_<;;]
Maintained by Kiri, this new archive is completely devoted to Greenwood
fanfiction. (*Wai!* Thank you, Kiri! *^_^*) It contains some beautifully
written fics, and is the place to go for more recent Greenwood fiction.
(The webmistress is also accepting submissions. *hint*) Go read Kiri's
bittersweet songfic "Language or the Kiss" right now!

Media
Lots of beautiful color manga art scans, script translations and two movie
clips (which I can't get to download ;_;). Movie clip #1 is the Cagliostro
tribute scene and clip #2 is a music video of Mitsuru and Nitta Mieko, set
to Mieko's image song "Nanatsu no Namida" (Seven Tears), which is on
the Here is Greenwood Vocal Best Collection 2-disc CD set.
Lillith has a beautiful collection of Mitsuru and Shinobu fanart. Her inks
and watercolors are especially striking. The picture of (female) Shinobu
and Michiru from Cherrywood is nothing short of amazing. Go look!

Fanart

A Japanese site, maintained by Aizawa Kana. Lovely manga-style
artwork with professional quality coloring. Forever Friends and Deep
French Kiss are my personal favorites, but all of the images are awesome.
*Yatta*! Umi's Greenwood information site is finally up! Umi is
currently blazing her way through translating the manga and is rapidly
closing in on tankoubon 3. Can I tell you how happy this makes me?! She
also has loads of character and seiyuu information and manga scans up,
with more Greenwoody goodness on the way. Check often!
