Warning: Not everything has been translated. Also, some . . . creative translating has occurred.

The story thus far: A infant prince has been kidnapped by a nefarious sorcerer by the name of Devil Lord
Cloretts. Lemon Herb (a wandering hero) and Tino (a boy with a crush on the Queen) set out to recover the
infant. It turns out that Lemon Herb used to be friends with the Devil Lord Cloretts (who used to be known as
Cool Mint), but now that Cloretts has become evil, Herb has sworn to kill him with his own hands. Herb and
Tino have various adventures on their way to Cloretts' stronghold in Devilwood. Herb receives some "Assault
Armor" from a bunch of kappas. This armor shoots out blades in all directions at the will of its owner. After a
difficult journey, Herb and Tino find Cloretts' castle at the bottom of a valley. Their first task is to climb down a
cliff face to get to the castle.

Tino (Hasukawa): Nothing is coming out, is it?

Herb (Mitsuru): Nah.

Herb: If we can get past this part. . . somehow we'll get to the bottom. . .

Foot slipping FX: Boro

Tino: Huh?

[Herb is dangling from an overhang with Tino clutching onto his cloak.]

Herb: This construction is just like him!

Herb and Tino: [Falling] WAAAAA!

Landing FX: ZUBO!

Tino: What the –? This is. . . sand! The entire valley floor is covered with it!

[Tino begins sinking into the sand.]

Tino: WA!

Herb: Tino?!

[Tino is sliding down the funnel of what looks like a giant ant lion's trap.]

Tino: GYAA!

Sliding sand FX: ZA!

[Herb grabs Tino's arm and hauls him out of the trap. The thing in the bottom of the trap nearly misses Tino's
foot.]

Near miss FX: Zasha!

[Giant, six-eyed worms with big mandibles pop out of the sand.]

Herb: Flee to the castle!

Tino: All right!

Worm FX: Za ba ba

[As Tino runs, Herb skewers one of the worms through the head.]

Herb FX: BA!

[Tino sprints for an opening in the castle wall. After he leaps through it, he realizes that it's a window 10 feet
above the castle floor.]

Tino: . . . !

[Tino lands safely.]

Tino: !

Tino FX: Zan

[A skeleton with a scimitar tries to slice Tino in half.]

Near miss FX: ZASHI

[Tino cuts through the skeleton's leg.]

Tino FX: BA

[Tino turns to see Herb cutting through the arm of another skeleton.]

Herb FX: ZATA

Herb: Up! He'll be in the highest part of the castle!

Tino: How do you know that?!

[A minotaur with a big axe appears.]

Minotaur FX: NU

[Herb swings at the minotaur and misses, burying his sword into a stone column. He then stabs the minotaur
with the blades in his arm guard.]

Herb: Great men and fools love heights!

[Herb and Tino flee up a spiral staircase, pursued by beast-headed monsters.]

[They come to a set of double doors at the top of the stairs.]

Herb parrying FX: Gashi!

[Herb grabs the door handle.]

Herb FX: Gu

[Herb and Tino throw open the doors.]

Door FX: BAN

[The monsters make themselves scarce.]

Monster FX: Za Su

[Cool stands at the end of the large hall. Two demons (Rokujou Noriko and Fuse-kun) are kneeling behind him.
To each side, waterfalls of sand flow down the wall.]

Cool (Shinobu): I've been waiting, Herb.

Herb: Cool. . . !

Herb: That outfit suits you.

Cool. Yours too.

Tino: [To Herb] Please be serious! This is the climax of the story!

Herb: Devil lord Cloretts! Your foul deeds have come to an end! Give back the kidnapped prince!

Cool: Prince? Oh. You came at the request of *that* country. Don't worry. The prince is here.

[The female demon holds up a piece of manju.]

Tino: The prince!

Herb: Cloretts! You didn't turn the prince into manju in order to eat him. Why this pretense?!

Cool: I researched for many long years. He's necessary for my magic.

Herb: "Magic"?

Cool: That's right. "Magic to control Time."

Tino: What did you say?!

Cool: [Gesturing behind him] Do you know what this is? It's sand. The sand that flows with time, falling,
eternally falling. It will probably bury this castle eventually.

Sand FX: ZA. . .

Cool: The necessary things have already been gathered to make it flow backwards. Lightning dragon whiskers,
udonge flowers, crow koyasugai. . .

Cool: . . . and a prince born on the night of the full moon.

Cool: I will sacrifice all of them to darkness on the night of the first new moon after the prince's birth.

Cool: Then all will be mine. I will control the flow of Time.

Cool: Tonight is the night of the new moon.

Herb tightening his grip on his sword FX: Chakin

Tino: [Charging] I'll never let you do that!

Herb: Tino, stop!

[Cool conjures up a ball of something.]

Cool FX: BO

[Herb destroys the spell with a slice of his sword.]

Herb FX: BA

Herb: Ku. . . !

Cool: I won't allow anyone to get in the way of the dream I've had these many years!

Spell FX: BUWA!

Herb: !

[Herb and Tino fly backwards.]

Herb and Tino: WAAA!

Spell FX: GOO!

[Tino grabs at a column as he flies by. Herb braces himself against a wall.]

Spell FX: GOOO!

[Cool is creating the spell with a big fan.]

Fan sign: Banana plant

Cool: Wa ha ha ha ha ha!

Fan FX: BUWASA BUWASA

Herb: What kind of monster are you?!

Cool: That's far enough, Herb! It's praiseworthy that you've come this far, but did you think a mere human
could defeat me?

Cool: Ha ha ha ha!

Nasu Yukie: This is rare.

Tino: Shit. . . Now what?

[Tino feels something breathing down his neck.]

Tino: Huh?

[He is face to face with a boar-headed monster.]

Tino: WAAA!

Monster FX: Bugo bugo

[Herb is fighting another minotaur.]

Herb: Ch–!

Metal on metal FX: KIN

More fighting noises: GA! PITAN

Cool: STOP!

[The monsters freeze.]

Cool: It's all right if I spare just you, Herb.

Cool: I can't endure seeing my old friend become the prey of monsters. If you'll admit defeat quietly and
become my ally, I'll spare you.

Cool: Put down your sword and come here!

Herb: [Sighing] Fu . . .

Herb: [Handing his sword to an ape-man] Here. Hold this.

(*)

[Tino is still cornered by three beast-men. Herb walks away.]

Tino: Herb-san!

[Herb approaches the dais where Cool waits.]

Tino: HERB!

[Herb and Cool stand face to face.]

[The beast men clutch their heads.]

FX: Ooooooo

Herb: Run, Tino! The castle is collapsing!!

Tino: What about the prince?!

[Herb tosses the manju to Tino.]

Manju FX: POI

[Tino puts the manju inside his vest. The castle walls are cracking.]

Castle collapsing FX: Go Gogo . . .

[The ceiling caves in.]

Collapsing FX: GUSHA! Gara Gara

[Herb and Tino climb to safety. The tower crumbles.]

Tower FX: GO-O

Tino: [Panting] Haa haa

[A pair of legs is sticking out of Tino's vest.]

Tino: Waa! The prince has returned to his normal shape!

Prince FX: Pu pu

[Herb and Tino watch as the castle dissolves into sand.]

Castle FX: DOOOOO

Narr: And that was the end of the devil lord Cloretts.

Herb: Well, I'll leave the rest up to you.

[Herb and Tino stand at a crossroads.]

Herb: Give this to the King so he can transfer the reward money into my account.

Tino: It's just a little farther. Aren't you returning to the castle?

Herb: Nah. I can't hang around.

Tino: Where will you go from here?

Herb: For the time being, north, but after that I don't know.

Tino: What will you do?

Herb: [Looking at a map] There are still eleven other old friends that I have to defeat with my own hands.

Herb: Our village really was a terrible place. Everyone turned evil.

Tino: If that's the case, then the biggest problem is the one person who *didn't*!

Narr: Then the warrior left. The boy was alone holding the prince. When he returned to the castle the king
was overjoyed.

King: So, Herb said that, did he? Dependable guy. Well, it can't be helped.

King: A promise is a promise. I'll make this one Chelsea's husband.

[Tino points to himself in shock.]

Narr: Tino married Princess Chelsea. It's said that after that, the boy, as the adopted heir of the castle, lived
happily ever after.

Tino: Not too happily. [Sweatdrop]
